Privacy Policy

This policy sets out how iMax IPTV handles personal information collected through imaxiptv.com, our client area, our applications and our support channels. It applies to every subscriber, wherever you are located.

Information you give us

Registration and checkout require a first and last name, an email address, a telephone number and billing information. Card numbers and PayPal credentials are processed by our payment providers and are never held on our systems. What we retain is a transaction reference, an amount, a currency and a status.

Support contact adds whatever you send us: ticket text, live chat transcripts, email correspondence, screenshots, logs and device details.

Information collected automatically

While you browse the site or use the service we record IP addresses, the approximate location derived from them, device model and operating system, browser type, the IPTV player used to connect, session start and end times, concurrent stream counts, pages viewed, time on page and click paths.

Cookies and similar technologies maintain your login session, remember display preferences and support site analytics.

Purposes

Contact details allow us to deliver credentials, respond to tickets and issue renewal notices. Billing data allows us to take payment, apply add ons and process refunds. Connection data, particularly IP addresses and concurrent session counts, allows us to enforce the connection allocation attached to your plan and to identify credential sharing.

Analytics show which setup guides and product pages actually help people. Security logging supports fraud detection, brute force prevention and abuse investigation. A small volume of records is retained because tax, accounting or legal obligations require it.

What we do not do with your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not license it, trade it or supply it to advertising networks, data brokers or marketing list vendors. Our revenue comes from subscriptions.

We do not build advertising profiles from viewing behaviour, and we do not disclose what individual subscribers watch to third parties for commercial purposes.

Processors and disclosure

A limited group of service providers processes data on our behalf: payment gateways, the transactional email service that delivers credentials and receipts, the live chat and ticketing platform, and our United States server and content delivery providers. Each receives only the data necessary for its function and is bound to use it for no other purpose.

Beyond those processors, we disclose information only in response to a valid legal demand, in the course of investigating fraud or a security incident, or where disclosure is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Storage and security

Account, billing and support records are held on encrypted servers in the United States. Streaming infrastructure is likewise United States based. Subscribers located outside the United States should understand that their information is processed in the United States and is subject to United States law, including lawful access requests.

Protections include TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for account databases, role based staff access, multi factor authentication on administrative systems and routine patching. No internet connected system is entirely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Should a breach occur that affects your data, we will notify you.

Retention

Account data is retained while the account remains open. Following closure, billing and transaction records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law and then deleted. Support correspondence is kept for 24 months.

Connection and server logs rotate on a 30 to 90 day cycle.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion of your account and associated data, or object to a specific use. Email iptvimax@gmail.com from the address registered to the account. We respond within 30 days.

Residents of California and other United States states with comprehensive privacy statutes have specific statutory rights, including access, deletion, correction, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, which is moot here because we do neither, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Subscribers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area may exercise equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR. We apply one process for everyone.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages such as credential delivery and renewal reminders.

Cookies can be blocked or cleared through your browser. Parts of the client area will not function correctly without them.

External links

Our website links to app stores, player downloads, payment pages, social channels and setup resources operated by others. Their privacy practices are their own. We are not responsible for how they handle data and we recommend reading their policies before submitting information.

Age restriction

iMax IPTV is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has supplied us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Revisions

This policy is updated when our practices change. The revision date appears at the top. Material changes are announced on the website and, where the change affects how personal data is handled, communicated by email to account holders.
